Some tips and tricks for making miniature trees with materials found around the house.
Supplies:
Wire
Kitchen sponge
Acrylic paints
Acrylic primer
School glue or PVA
Paintbrush
Scissors
Gypsum plaster
Pliers
Cut wire several pieces a few inches long and then using pliers twist them so they form a trunk at the bottom.
Apply thick layer of acrylic primer and leave to dry.
Mix the primer with brown color and paint the trunk.
Paint sponge in various colors: green, light green, dark green and yellow-green. When the sponge is dry cut it into small pieces.
Apply glue with a brush and glue the pieces of sponge.
Make display from gypsum plaster and water. Place the trees in the wet gypsum plaster and leave to dry.
When the plaster is dry paint display in different colors and scatter pieces of sponge.
