Crochet christmas gnome

Crochet the little gnome for your Christmas tree. 

Supplies:

• Red, white, pink and black yarn
• Crochet hook
• Polyester stuffing

Hat (red color)

Round 1. Sc 2 into magic circle.

Round 2.  *Work 1 sc into next st, then 2 sc into next stitch* 2x. (6 st)

Round 3.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (6 st)

Round 4.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 2 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (8 st)

Round 5.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (8 st)

Round 6.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 3 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (10 st)

Round 7.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (10 st)

Round 8.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 4 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (12 st)

Round 9.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (12 st)

Round 10.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 7 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (14 st)

Round 11.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 8 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (16 st)

Round 12.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 9 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (18 st)

Round 13.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 10 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (20 st)

Round 11.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 10 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (33 st)

Round 11.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 11 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (36 st)

Round 11.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 12 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (39 st)

Nose (pink color)

sc2tog – decrease stitch, crochet 2 single crochet together.

Round 1. Sc 2 into magic circle.

Round 2.  *Work 1 sc into next st, then 2 sc into next stitch* 2x. (6 st)

Round 3.  *Work 1 sc into next st, then 2 sc into next stitch* 2x. (12 st)

Round 4-5.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (12 st). Stuff firmly.

Round 6.  *Work 1 sc into next st, sc2tog* 2x. (6 st). Leave 15-20 sm yarn.

Body (black color)

Round 1. Sc 2 into magic circle.

Round 2.  *Work 1 sc into next st, then 2 sc into next stitch* 2x. (6 st)

Round 3.  *Work 1 sc into next st, then 2 sc into next stitch* 2x. (12 st)

Round 4.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 2 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (18 st)

Round 5.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 3 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (24 st)

Round 6.  *Work 1 sc in each of next 4 st. Work 2 sc in next stitch* 2x. (30 st)

Round 7.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around for back stitch. (30 st)

Round 8-9.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (30 st)

Round 10-13. Take white yarn. Work 1 loop stitch in each stitch around. (30 st)

Round 14.  *Work 1 sc into next st, sc2tog* 6x. (24 st). Stuff firmly.

Round 15.  *Work 1 sc into next st, sc2tog* 6x. (18 st)

Round 16.  *Work 1 sc into next st, sc2tog* 6x. (12 st)

Round 17.  *Work 1 sc into next st, sc2tog* 6x. (6 st)

Round 16.  *sc2tog* 6x., end with a slip stitch.

Sew the nose and hat to the body.
